Thanks Giving Ceremony

One of the well-known clubs of AIUB, ACC (AIUB Computer Club) organized a thanks giving ceremony on 5th April, 2016 for the senior executives who are graduating soon. The ceremony took place at AIUB’s auditorium. The auditorium was decorated delightfully for the ceremony. It was an occasion for the seniors to look back at the time they had spent with the club and the memories they gathered throughout the time.

The program started after the arrival of the honorable and respected faculties, Prof Dr. Tafazzal Hossain, the Dean (FSIT), Dr.Tabin Hasan, Head (Graduate), Md. Saef Ullah Miah (Assistant Professor, CS), Abhijit Bhowmik (Assistant Professor & Special Assistant (OSA), CS) and other respected faculties were present in the ceremony. Dr.Tafazzal Hossain and Dr.Tabin Hasan gave their remarkable speeches to encourage the seniors in their new sphere of lives. Md. Saef Ullah Miah and one of the founders of ACC (AIUB Computer Club), Abhijit Bhowmik and Md. Shamsur Rahim (Lecturer, CS) gave their valuable speeches and shared the memories they spent with the seniors and the club. Some ex members of ACC who were present in the ceremony also gave their speeches.

After the speeches of honorable faculties, the senior executives were honored by flowers, certificates and crests given by Tafazzal Hossain. After that there were music, videos, games and laughter for the entertainment of the senior executives. The videos were the most entertaining part of the event. After all the fun and frolic, the seniors came one by one on the stage and thanked their juniors and faculties for all the affection and guidance. They also shared their memorable moments spent with their friends, juniors and faculties during the time they were in the club. There was also arrangement of food and beverages for everyone who attended the ceremony. In the end to increase the enjoyment of the event the seniors ACC organized a small concert. The thanks giving ceremony was celebrated with lot of enthusiasm and was praised by the senior executives from the bottom of their hearts.
