Exclusive breastfeeding in rural northern Bangladesh : does paternal education and career matter?

Breastfeeding is the intrinsic key food for infants which is widely advocated globally.Exclusive breastfeeding (EBF) is the globally recommended feeding strategy which stands for that infant takes only breast milk for the first six month of life after birth. Data which was cumulated from Rajshahi mothers having at least one child aged 6-24 months from January to March, 2019 using multistge random sampling.A standard semi-structured questionnaire was utilized to gather the information from the selected subjects. Frequency distribution, ANOVA, independent sample t-test, Chi-square (χ2) test, multiple linear regression model, binary logistic regression, stepwise regression analysis, individual contribution and ROC curve analysis were applied in this study.
