Factors Affecting Digital Financial Literacy and their Impact on Customers’ Financial Behavior: A Bangladesh Perspective
In the rapidly evolving digital economy, digital financial literacy (DFL) has emerged as a critical competency that influences individuals' ability to effectively use digital financial services (DFS). Over the past decade, Bangladesh has experienced rapid growth in mobile financial services and fintech platforms, significantly improving access to financial services. However, access alone does not ensure effective or responsible usage. Many individuals still lack the necessary skills and confidence to use digital financial platforms properly. Recent research indicates that digital literacy, financial knowledge, and self-efficacy play a crucial role in shaping individuals’ willingness and ability to adopt fintech services (Islam & Khan, 2024). At the same time, trust in digital systems has emerged as a key factor influencing user behavior, particularly in developing economies (Hassan et al., 2024).
